International Spanish Academy

Beveridge Magnet is part if the ISA network. The “International Spanish Academies” (ISA) are educational institutions in the U.S. and Canada, of recognized academic prestige, which follow an integrated curriculum of Spanish language and content. To be part of this network, our school has signed an agreement of collaboration with the Ministry of Education from Spain.

The Dual Language Program

Dual Language  education programs integrate native English speaking students with native Spanish, Chinese, French (or other)
speaking students for academic instruction which is presented in both languages.  Social and academic learning occurs
in an enviroment that values the language and culture of all students and sets high standards to ultilmately achieve academic
success in both languages.  Many school districts have created magnet schools around Dual Language programs because of
the social benefits found in these classrooms.  Omaha Public Schools is one such district and Beveridge is one of the schools in
that offers this program to 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students.
