Welcome to Beveridge Magnet School!
Class: Algebra 7
Teacher: Ms. Kristen Houdek
This is a traditional first-year algebra course. It covers several topics. Students will communicate number sense concepts using multiple representations to reason, solve problems, and make connections within mathematics and across disciplines.
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to display understanding of the following:
* Expressions, Equations, and Functions
* Systems of Linear Equations
* Proportional Reasoning

How can parents help at home: Students will have homework/practice most nights. Please occasionally ask them to show it to you. Please email me if your student is struggling with the material so we can set up interventions as needed. I am more than willing to set up a time before or after school to help your student.
